The law firm of Adam Dash & Associates turns ten years old on September 1, 2003. Located at One Davis Square in Somerville, Massachusetts, the firm was started by Adam Dash, Esq. in 1993 as a solo practice with one room. Since then, the firm has grown to add Meihuei Hu, Esq. as an associate attorney and has expanded into additional space. The general practice firm handles real estate, family and divorce cases, as well as business matters.

“It’s hard to believe that it has been ten years already,” said Attorney Dash. “I remember starting in a windowless office with two cases after leaving my law firm job in Boston. Now, we have an extremely active case load with a wide variety of clients, both large corporations and local individuals. Somerville has been very good to us, and we would like to thank everybody who helped make the firm a success.”

A graduate of Brandeis University and George Washington University law school, Attorney Dash was elected chairman of the Somerville Chamber of Commerce in 2002 and recently stepped down as president of the Somerville Homeless Coalition, although he remains on the board of directors. Attorney Dash has lived in Somerville for the past twelve and one-half years and has practiced law for the past thirteen years.

Attorney Hu joined the firm in 2001 after moving from Seattle, where she first practiced law in 1998. A graduate of Seattle University school of law, she is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and French. Attorney Hu has written legal articles for the Boston Chinese News and is on the board of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce of New England.

“This first decade is just the beginning,” said Attorney Dash. “There is a lot more legal work to do.”
